Back in 2007, as we set out to create the world’s finest ceramic cookware, we searched extensively for a U.S. manufacturing partner. Unfortunately, no American factory had the capabilities or the willingness to produce our cookware. That search led us to Chaozhou, China, the ceramics capital of the world, where we found artisans and technology that could bring our vision to life.

Crafting Xtrema cookware is not a typical manufacturing process—it’s a true art form. These techniques have been passed down for over 10,000 years, and we’ve spent the past 18 years refining our designs, walking factory floors, and building deep relationships based on trust and shared commitment to quality.

This month, a 145% tariff on Chinese imports was set to take effect. Thankfully, a 90-day pause has been granted, and the current rate stands at 30%. While this is a temporary relief, the long-term outcome remains uncertain. We’re closely monitoring the situation and praying for a fair resolution.

We’ve proudly kept our prices steady for the past five years. However, with the 30% tariffs now in place and no permanent agreement secured, we must raise prices on many items by 5% starting June 1st. We're sharing this with you now so you can plan accordingly and because transparency is at the heart of everything we do.
