Right now, we're focused on helping those who have a difficult time landing on their feet and becoming employed, work in our fulfillment centers so they too, can put healthy food on their tables. We're currently researching into the many more ways we want to give back and are open to all suggestions. Feel free to get in touch with us so we can help communities everywhere.

Way back when

With over forty years of industry experience, our founder, Rich Bergstrom knew ceramic–a time tested material long used for its heat conductive properties–would lay a pure foundation. From here, we began engineering its structure and ceramic glazing methods to craft a line of revolutionary, versatile cookware.

A little less than way back

With this vision and product in hand, we explored manufacturing options around the world, until the solution presented itself–why not produce our 100% ceramic cookware in its country of origin? China, where over seventy percent of the world’s ceramic products are cultivated. It is here where our vision finally came to life and Xtrema earned its name as one of the only 100% pure ceramic based cookware on the market.

“In my 23 Years with Corning Consumer Product Company we never made a ceramic pot bigger than 5 Quarts so when I founded the Xtrema cookware brand I had one of my best designers make for us a 10 Quart Dutch Oven/Soup Pot, that could be used for soups and chilies, but my all-time favorite must be corn beef and cabbage. This to me is our family pot and it dedicated to those who gather around the table and celebrate what it means to be family strong.”

“Our favorite pan is the 4 QT Baking Dish. Our nine grandkids and their parents love our homemade mac and cheese. In fact, during the holidays when they all visit at the same time, we use two 4 qt baking dishes! Left over Mac and Cheese is a bonus for lunch the next day. On the table the Mac and cheese will stay piping hot for twenty minutes!”

Holly’s Favorite: Retro Tea Kettle
“From the moment I wake up in the morning the Retro Kettle is part of my day. I start my day by warming up water to make my pour over coffee, mid-day, I turn the kettle on low to feed my sourdough starter and after dinner I warm the kettle up one last time to finish with a calming herbal tea for before bed.
