At Xtrema, we hope that you cook your family healthy, nourishing food. But you also cook because you’re passionate about the experience
Combining big ideas and little details, taking things apart and putting them back together, and creating something that’s so much more than the sum of its parts. This is the treasured art of cooking for family and friends. Just like you, the creators of Xtrema® cookware are passionate about the entire cooking process. We knew that home cooks carefully consider every ingredient they slice, stir or sauté. We also knew that every metal or nonstick pot or pan—even the ceramic-coated ones marketed as “green”—can leach toxic substances into food as you cook.
we knew there had to be a better way, and we were determined to find it.
In 2004, with our 40 year experience in the ceramics and glass industry as a guide, we embarked on a quest to create a line of safe, non-toxic cookware. We turned to a time tested material that’s been valued for its versatility and superior heat conduction for more than 10,000 years: ceramic. Then we perfected our construction and ceramic glazing methods to craft a line of revolutionary, versatile cooking vessels.
The Journey for the Best
We tried for years to find a company that could make our Xtrema ceramic cookware. We explored U.S. manufacturing and met with companies overseas. For the best in product quality and performance, we decided to manufacture Xtrema Pure Ceramic Cookware in China, the country ranked #1 for ceramic manufacturing in the world with over 70% of the world’s total output of ceramic products.
three years later in February of 2007, we officially registered our company and launched our signature product: Xtrema® pure ceramic cookware.
I’m proud of the product we produce. I am honored that you chose our Xtrema cookware and I’m always excited to help our customers find even more joy, better tasting food and healthy cooking during the entire Xtrema cooking experience.
The Very Best Blessing for you, your family and friends,
